Navindu Vithanage (28) is an experienced professional cricketer currently playing for Burgher recreational Club in Group B of the Major League Tournament. Navindu was part of the Sri Lanka national squad at U17s & U19s level. 

With over 2000 first class runs behind him, he has been a regular throughout a 10 year period from 2015-2025.

Vithanage has played in the UK the last 4 years in the midlands, firstly in a well recognized Birmingham & District Premier Cricket League for Himley CC. The Sri Lankan spent 3 seasons plying his trade there scoring 1700 runs @ 32 and aswell as being a great team mate on the field, he was also superb off the field when it came to coaching and helping around the club.

Most recently in 2026, Navindu has spent the season playing Shropshire Premier League for Shelton CC. He has struck over 600 runs @ 42 along with chipping in with 20+ wickets. His all round ability was here to see this year and would add a great option for any club wanting an overseas professional in 2027.
