Lahiru Jayaratne (34) is an experienced Sri Lankan professional all rounder currently playing for Kurunegala CC in the Major League Group B Tournament.

Jayaratne has been a proven performer across all formats in Sri Lanka, the all rounder has taken over 200 wickets throughout the formats and regularly chipped in with runs. A highest score of 80 and three other half centuries to his name.

Lahiru has played 3 season in the UK to date, the first season in the ECB Nottinghamshire Premier League, for Mansfield Hoisery Mills CC. He took 34 wickets @ 21 and 429 runs. Then he excelled playing in the West of England Premier competition, for Goatacre CC. The all rounder has performed superbly well taking 51 wickets @ 11 including five, five wicket hauls. He was also invaluable chipping in with crucial runs hitting 475 runs @ nearly 40.

Jayaratne has spent the last 2 seasons back in the West of England for Goatacre where he has been a huge asset both on and off the field. A genuine all rounder who’s taken over 60 wickets and 800 runs the past few years.

Despite a below par season due to injury in 2026, Lahiru has already re-signed with Goatacre for 2027 and is looking forward to making another huge impact.
