Charlie Kunje (28) is an experienced top order batter whos currently playing for the Mid-West Rhinos in the Zimbabwe domestic cricket franchise.

Charlie plays alongside alot of the national stars such as Brendan Taylor and Ryan Burl to only name a few. Charlie performed fantastically well a few summers ago scoring 277 runs @ 46, the only player to outscore him was Zim national captain Brendan Taylor.

Charlie has represented Zimbabwe in age groups U17s & U19s aswell as numerous development and emerging players sides. He then went on to play for Zimbabwe A where after a very impressed 2016/17 scoring 415 runs @  41.50. 

Kunje is predominantly a batter but hes been working very hard on his bowling this year and slowly getting more opportunities to bowl at Mid-West with some success. 

His first sint over in the UK was up in Scotland for Meigle CC where he scored 513 runs @ 36.44 along with chipping in with 29 wickets @ 12. He came back the following season down in Devon and scored 1000 runs along with 21 wickets. His most recently stint was in 2022 where he came over and played half a season for Greenfield CC where he whacked 382 runs @ 42 with a highest of 107*.

Charlie is now looking for a return to the UK in 2023 and comes with a proven record behind him, hes also a keen level 2 coach and is very keen to be involved in that side of it aswell.
